Weekend is a 2011 British gay film directed by Andrew Haigh, starring Tom Cullen (Russell) and Chris New (Glen), about Russell picks up Glen at a gay club for one night stand becomes something special.
The movie, Weekend, follows the main character Russel as he goes on a search to find himself. Russel then meets another man. The two go on an adventure together full of drugs, sex, and stories of the past. The film focuses on the experience that the two have together, and the impact that the experience will have on their lives. It also touches on the importance of being your authentic self, as well as living a life that you are in love with. This movie has been considered to be one of the greatest gay films from Britain.
